My dealer advises me that Deere will be selling a 4700 compact tractor later this year. I understand the tractor is similar to the 4600 with more power. Has anyone heard this?

I just ordered a 4600 yesterday ( expected delivery in 2 weeks ) and nothing about a 4700 was ever mentioned. Are there any other changes besides the horsepower increase ??? ....

yes.....they are introducing a 4700 two transmissions....hydro and power reverser..@ 40 and 41.5 PTO HP ....

Deere has introduced a 4700 compact tractor. It is a 4wd only tractor. Looks like a very good unit. ....

Do you know if the engine has a larger displacement or did Deere just "turn up the pump"? Did you get a price? How much more than the 4600 4WD? ....
